Connect us to buy some amazing art made by kids and their parents at Aashansh:

Kids studying at Aashansh many times have to go to work to feed their family which leads them to loss of their childhood and get into the mindset of making money at a early age just to keep feeding their home. When they keep growing, due to lack of education, they keep switching their jobs as they are never able to find stability in their jobs and this is not just the story of kids at Aashansh but also their parents.

Due to the intervention of Aashansh in the community, people in the community have become aware of their rights and today they believe in letting their kids study. This attitude does not stay in the favor for longer run as they have to constantly find ways to feed their family and in the process even though they want to change their life circumstances do not allow them to do so.

We at Aashansh with the help of some amazing volunteers have taken an initiative to provide an alternate source of earning through creating art products and sell it.

We wish to partner with you all for the supplies to create such products for sale.

Aashansh is a non-profit organisation with a mission to provide children from underprivileged communities in India with the confidence and knowledge to unlock the door to social mobility, through weekly mentorship sessions and an experiential education programme.

Aashansh is currently working with 40 children, aged 6-18, in a street community in Worli. From our centre at Century Bazaar, we teach nearly 250 sessions a year. Combined with 50 mentorship sessions, this comes to 600 hours of interaction with each Aashansh child a year.
