Ramesh Joshi

(Founder, Chairman and Managing director)

Ramesh Joshi is a young passionate social entrepreneur. Chair person, Founder and director of Aashansh.He has done naval training from sea cadet corps, has been a student of Akanksha, has been a student of Akanksha's social leadership program, has played hockey for Akanksha and also served as a captain for a year, has been through Ashoka's youth venture progam, has served as a facilitator at Ashoka's youth venture program, is currently investee of unlimited India. He has worked as a youth coordinator, head teacher, councilor and fundraisor with various NGO's across mumbai. He is also very active with lot of other social projects.

Dheeraj Gupta


Dheeraj gupta, treasurer of The Aashansh foundation, is an inspiring person. He is currently working as Assistant Manager Operation at FIS Payment Solution Services Pvt. Ltd. He has previously worked with corporate like; NCR India Pvt. Ltd. as Sr. Cash Analyst, ICICI Bank Pvt. Ltd. as Relationship Executive, M/s M.S. Group of Companies as Assistant Accountant. He holds MBA in Finance & Operations Management.



For over a decade now, Ektaa Aggarwal has distilled her experiences from working across continents. Her clients have ranged from Coca-Cola to Ecuador’s tourism board, with Saks Fifth Avenue and Johnson & Johnson in for measure. After graduating from The Pratt Institute, she has worked on campaigns with Spike Lee/DDB, Kraftworks, Platinum design, Public New York and Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Her experience of working in the US and India created a niche space for her to start 369 Incorporated.

Ektaa's International experience in both kinds of set-ups gave her the skill sets to start 369 Incorporated — a boutique firm that would offer the comprehensive services and methods of large agencies and at the same time provide the flexibility and dynamism of smaller studios.

Deepa Bahal


Deepa is an individual always in the quest of knowing more and exploring various facets of her own life as well of others in general. She is an experienced perofessional engaged in the financial services sector.

She is interested in a lot of things (sometimes all at once) like travelling, trekking, music, photography and so on. She has been a part of the Aashansh mission by supporting the mentorship program and looks forward to contributing to development of the children of the Aashansh family.

Sapna Shah


With over seven years of experience in the design and retail industries, Sapna has spent her time working in London, New York and Mumbai. She has graduated from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai and has received a Masters degree from The Pratt Institute in New York. Currently, she is the Associate Client Director at FITCH in Mumbai and her clients include Cadburys, Vodafone and Reliance, to name a few. Besides leading marquee clients, her role involves developing new business opportunities and growing existing client relationships. She has been a passionate advocate of education and mentorship and is also a part of the mentoring program at Aashansh!

Shilpa Garg Agrawal


Shilpa Garg Agrawal: Shilpa, an entrepreneur with 7 years of clinical research experience, and an adept learner, has always believed in following her dreams. She pursued Masters in Pharmacy from Manipal University (MAHE). After that, in a span of almost half a decade in Quintiles, she moved on to take up different roles. Shilpa has always been appreciated by her colleagues and seniors for her dedication towards her work, eye for detail, focus on quality, quick learning capabilities and mentoring skills.

In 2010, Shilpa in the quest for internal satisfaction left her corporate job and worked with NGO CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development) in Sidhbari, Himachal, as a volunteer for 3 months, where she was responsible for setting up English Speaking elementary classes for the villagers.

In order to contribute to the clinical research field, and to continue with her interest in working with street children, Shilpa started her own venture,* SenseCR (Training and Consulting in Clinical Research)* in Jan 2012. Till date, she has trained more than 500 students and clinical research professionals. She has been involved in conducting corporate training workshops for some leading Pharma and CRO companies.

Shilpa is a part of the mentorship program of Ashansh since November 2012.

Lucy Gadkari


Lucy Gadkari is a BA graduate from St. Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. She is currently working with FITCH Mumbai as insights and trend manager. She has been working with Aashansh as mentor and she is also serving a board of director at Aashansh.
